The last 2 weeks we’ve been fairly quiet. We’ve been recharging our batteries whilst enjoying our last few days in Auckland and then moving on to Melbourne. NOT moving around can be so much fun sometimes 🙂
Week #6 completed. 1 week left in New Zealand. You may have realized that the number of activities and length of distance reduced over the last weeks. We reduced our speed a bit and decided to select only a few last spots to visit and then rather stay a bit longer in one place.
We’ve arrived on the North Island and I think I speak for both of us when I say we were hit by a little bit of “travel fatigue” this week. I’m not sure if the term really exists or at least the meaning of it for us does probably not exist in English but I think it describes the current vibe quite well – wonder why?
Alright, so compared to the previous 14 days, week 4 was relatively uneventful. We were so glad to get some downtime in Christchurch in a proper home and finally catching up on so much that we wanted to get done.
Right, so we’re kind of delayed here. We’ve accumulated some backlog in terms of travel reports. So it’s about time we give you guys a proper recap of weeks 2 and 3. More detailed reports on specific experiences will follow.
Our first full week in New Zealand has come to an end and so we thought it might be a good time for time for a quick recap of the week and some of the insights we’ve gathered so far.
